I dont understand the purpose of them sending a lawyer to help you with your disability case. What are they supposed to do? Real question here! All the lawyer did was sit next to me and write on a piece of paper. Hows that helpful? I dont recommend Berg for these types of claims. They have one stressed out lady handling the entire state of California, she only works part time, if you call and its after noon or shes too busy which is always but not her fault youre SOL because nobody else at that office can help you nobody else knows anything about disability claims.
Berg is representing a relative of mine for social security. I agree with others when they say that they dont do much. Its pretty much just so you can say that you have a lawyer but they dont actually do anything. They only have 1 person that handles ALL the disability cases and she is very stressed out and has missed a few things but I think that its Bergs fault because they should have more than 1 person working the disability cases. My niece went to the hearing with the attorney provided by Berg and he didnt do or say a thing so I Donis understand the purpose of ever hiring them. When they were done with the hearing she asked how he thought it all went.. his answer was he didnt really understand what the Judge and the examiner were talking about.
