Loved my experience with College Works Painting. I did indeed have a college student, Miranda, who planned and coordinated the job. Her energy and positivity was a joy to work with. The job went fast and the crew was very professional. My bungalow is the prettiest on the street!
I feel completely swindled by college works. Initial meetings were hopeful and filled with lies. We were told two layers of paint would be applied to the body and only one was applied and in some places none. Had we chosen a different enough color, perhaps they would have been forced to follow through with the agreement. Instead we need to have a second job done, and we will pay. We were told the young student who sold the job would be present on site and was not. She was interested in her sales pitch and presentation but lied and failed to communicate or make good on her word. Very unfortunate mistakes were made by her that I hope she learns from. The painters were nice people but didnt all know what they were doing. They did not do prep and had to go back and do it after painting. They did not wrap windows. They left odd splashes of color on the trim where it does not belong. They put holes in the house with staples rather than using tape. Then they had to be told to stop this and then told to fill the holes. This is a house that was previously painted with lead paint so this was exceedingly inappropriate and likely illegal/ against code. They trampled my plant. The windows are stuck shut again. I will work on re-opening them this afternoon. Things were painted that did not have paint on them previously such as the aluminum clad gutters, and the P, G and E box. Things were not painted that had been painted before such as the undersides and top sides of window trim and drain pipes that were painted last to cover old lead paint.
Very clean work. Job was completed on time. We very happy with the paint and its application. The painters did not leave until a thorough walk around on the final day was completed. I highly recommend CWP.
We have really big house and through all our experience with previous painters, the did a professional job! The head painter Alex N. was very understanding, accommodating, and kind. The quality of the work was excellent. I really appreciated to be given the chance to choose the color and grade. As well as, the professional experience with the estimate. The service by the crew magnificent with his lead.
