I had a drain pipe under my house that needed to be replaced. The job involved breaking the concrete slab and digging three feet underground to get to the pipe. I have copper tubing in my floor for radiant heat.Nick was on time and gave me two estimates--one if they did not have to break and repair the radiant heat piping and one if they did. The total was lower than the estimate from another company. Carlos did the work and he was on time and very neat. He finished the job in two days, including repairing the radiant heat. On the third day, the supervisor, Zach Turner came out to inspect the job and he actually was nice enough to put the carpet back in place and move some of the furniture back! They were all very nice and competent people and I would use them again.
BEWARE! Big Blue is a pretty immoral company. My landlady had has them work on the house multiple times and every time they are here they find a new "essential" project that HAS to be done and it always gets more and more expensive. Not only that, but on this visit they told her that her brand new water heater will have to be replaced after 5 years (despite the fact that she pays them to service it yearly). A water heater that only lasts 5 years is both defective and poorly maintained. With what they charged her to put it in, the assessment says a lot about their beliefs in the products they sell. She called another local plumbing company to come out for a second opinion (thankfully) and the guy said spending what they were asking to put in extensive new plumbing was superfluous given its age and location in our house. Maybe if the water heater was 10 years old, but not 18 months. In short, beware of their estimates! If it feels like they are taking you for a ride, they probably are.
We had an excellent experience with Big Blue Plumbing, especially with Harris Giotas and Zack Turner. They did great work, were very cordial and explained things so that we could understand them. We will tell our family and friends that if they need plumbing work to call Big Blue. Thanks to Kevin Good for the recommendation.

These guys have been great! Super respectful and hard-working. I even had to leave a few time while they were here and felt comfortable with it. Luis was the head guy, but Ryan was here everyday and led all the work. Very friendly and knowledgable. We went with them because we were able to get an exact quote beforehand that wouldn't change- which was more reassuring than the other quotes. Would definitely hire again
