Eh, well I recently visited Alameda to see some family member of mine. An officer came up to me during my visit accusing me of smoking marijuana, I reassured him I was not a fan of the plant. He reassured me he had the power to figure that out. After throwing my belongings on the ground, searching me, and using awful language. He found out I was being honest, said a rude apology, and then drove away. I went to complain at the police department, wasn't taken serious, and was labeled the bad guy. What an awful time here. A truly disappointing experience!
It's amazing, the contrast between these two places/precinct. The unit really takes care of their people uniformly.

I been in Alameda for past 18 years as of october 10th and I feel no longer being in Alameda. It has changed my experince from good to bad after all these years. I now no longer feel safe walking in alameda specially the webster st and park st. The bycele are being ride on sidewalk, dangerous dogs being walked around without their leash. And fI'll with outside teangers who are acting hostile and harassing people who are just minding their business. Conditions like this is becoming problem for people with family. Surprising the police departmentry of alameda has done nothing about this issue that is rising which makes us family people afraid to take our kids out to walk to the park. It is shamefull for alameda police department. And if this continue further I will be leavingwith my family to another city where I will feel safe for myself and my family. My request to alameda police please take action and make our city safer so we citizen who reside in alameda don't have to be harrassed.
