Dr Ashley and her staff are very professional and treat each animal as their own. From the first time I brought my dog to Dr Ashley over two years ago, I felt very comfortable with her. She listens to every fear, question and concern and allows time to process everything. She is very knowledgeable in holistic medicine and integrates traditional medicine when warranted. What I really appreciate is her interaction with my dog, making him feel comfortable with her. My dog loves going to see Dr Ashley!
Dr. McCaghan saved my little one who was miserable. I had gone to my regular vet who prescribed harder meds and made my cat even more miserable with her itchy skin condition. I decided on a whim (and research) after my cat was suffering with constant itch and pain for several months and running out of options for her odd condition.We decided on acupuncture and laser for her. Holy Scrap! It was the first time she felt better in over two months. I was elated! And so was my little one.The Dr. and staff spend a lot of time with you and listen to you and your pets specific needs.I really wish I wouldve went to her first instead of putting my animal through some hard medication that was unnecessary in her case.I will continue to go to Alameda Marina Vet for my pets, as well as continue to recommend them.
My pup, Sampson, who is a large breed is so blessed to be working with Dr. Ashley now for almost two years. Her knowledge and holistic approach to his care has transformed his life for the better. It's because of her suggestion to get him into Aqua Therapy (he's been going every Saturday now for a year) that he is able to maintain and sustain his active lifestyle at 13 years old. He is a very happy pup because of it and I am so grateful for her unending compassion and guidance, as I help him navigate his life as a senior pup. Thank you Dr. Ashley and Stormy!
We followed Dr. Ashley from another local holistic vet practice because she's got such great integrity with our pet. Energetically she connects, and is able to explain the issues going on inside our cat in a very pragmatic way. We find her bedside manner so attentive and careful compared to other vets that are more administrative in nature. The staff at Marina Village Vet are also a great crew. They treat you and your pet as one client. I've been able to get strong referrals from the team for things like pet boarding, places to buy supplements, pet insurance, directions to the new clinic, etc. I will emphasize that the entire clinic is well designed. Meaning that you and your pet are not crimped in the waiting room, especially the openness and flow to the exam rooms helped reduce the anxiety in our lil cat. The systems are modern. I love that you can pay for service through a mobile hand held device from inside the exam room. It makes the visit flow smooth and eliminates having to manage your pet or others pets in the lobby barking at each other. There's so much thought Dr. Ashley put into this clinic from beginning to end from the client / pet experience, the care and attention, the high degree of care for the pets, the staff that takes such great care of you all the way through, and ultimately the value you're getting behind the work. We're looking forward to adopting another pet soon and even had a super strong consult with Dr. Ashely about what it takes to integrate pets We wish Dr. Ashely and the team a very bright future!
Amazing vet! They are a very new location but oh so very good. Been taking my cats to Providence but they've cause several issues with my fur babies. Came here to Marina Village Vet and was not disappointed. Super clean space, extremely friendly staff and well informed and caring vet. My 10 week old rescue kitten I've been having trouble with and Providence kept telling me he was fine and to wait it out. Took him here and immediately the vet noticed he was underweight, his eye condition was herpes and offered ideas to help him gain weight and found several solutions to help his health conditions. Love these guys and will be bringing my fur babies here for sure moving forward!
