I am handicapped and after a workout at the gym A friend pick me up and took me to downtown San Francisco to pick up some medication. When I returned my car had been towed. Even with a handicap Placard! It was there for less than seven hours and the parking lot was completely empty. The front desk guy laughed at me and the manager did absolutely nothing. He wont even talk to me. It was $570 and costed me a lot of pain and suffering waiting to get my vehicle. Ive been a loyal member for years and have never been treated with so horribly! I even had left a note on my car with the phone number to call me if there were any problems and they gave me no notice. This is the worst gym Ive been to. Im filing a lawsuit im contacting corporate and the handicap rights organizations.
As a gym, the variety and amount of equipment is great. But its never where its supposed to be. Good luck finding the dumbbells you need or a yoga ball when you want it. Like an aggro scavenger hunt. Its mostly the members fault but still, staff could do a few more walk arounds.
I've been using this gym for a few years now, and I find it decently good. It does get pretty busy, but if you try to go during non-drive times it's not bad. Membership is pretty cheap and it gets the job done. I do wish they'd add maybe 1 more squat rack, there are 2 and they are always being used it seems!
Ive been to a lot of 24 hour fitness before and this is the worst one Ive been to. So bad that I canceled my membership after the experience with this gym. I happened to meet the manager Patrick. I told him that somebody had literally smeared feces in the locker room on the bench and lockers and even on the sink and mirrors. He laughed in my face and then said that he would send a cleaning person over there. I could not stomach going to the locker room to change so I left and came back four hours later after work. The mess was still there it had not been touched! The front desk person told me that Patrick Was busy even Patrick was clearly there doing something. They told me that I should just change at home. I told then I wanted to cancel my membership!
Been a member for over a year. Im one of the less socially popular crowd ( overweight, physically disabled, poor and otherwise not meeting our dysfunctional social standards of success). Normally use the gym for physical therapy during off hours (12PM- 5AM) This morning I get harassed in parking lot by an employee banging on my car. They should know legal definition of loitering means hanging around for an UNLAWFUL purpose. Excuse me for living on the fringes of our social insanity!?! Aside from that, the acceptable clients tend to trash the parking lot - like fitness doesnt include the environment we are ALL part of. Im GLAD to not fit in but I wish this place would remember that me, and others like me, are STILL a part of society AND PAYING customers!!!
