Love this place. One problem tho: Stop taking dogs that are over thirty pounds into the small dog section. This can get obnoxious. I have an eight pound dog. She doesn't deserve to get trampled.
Convent location. I was a little sad when I realized dogs are not allowed on the beach. We were headed to the beach and found this dog park along the way. Mitch was super excited when I let him in. The property was fairly clean but thats up to the pet owners to pick up after the pooches. There was a play area for small dogs that was separate. Mitch and I went into the larger area. There was a water station for the dogs. There was also sand all around so mitch got a kick out of playing in it.
We take our 20 pound shiba to this dog park all the time. The park is separated into a small and large dog area with no dogs greater than 30 pounds allowed on the small side and anyone allowed on the large side. We use both sides with our dog depending on how busy it is. The dog park is near the beach and is mostly sand with some grass. There are water fountains for the dogs, benches for the people, and scoops for picking up your dog's unmentionables. My only complaint is that the fences are set all that deep into the ground. Our dog has come somewhat close to digging under the separator between the two sides. All in all, this is the best dog park in the area that we have tried!
My dog had a blast here! It was mine and my husband's first time taking him here yesterday and he played with the other dogs so well! They also provide a water fountain so your dog doesnt get dehydrated and there is so much space for the dogs to run around! Also they provide a few trash cans and tools to scoop up your dog's poop, it is very sandy though so your four legged friend will end up with sand everywhere and your shoes will end up filled with sand, but the regulars (people and dogs included) were very nice, we will absolutely bring our dog here again!
Great place to bring your dogs, friendly atmosphere, clean. Lots of parking, handicap parking and handicap accessibility. Public restrooms available. Kid friendly
