We primarily come for the playground area for my kids. There is a decent sized sandbox to play in that will fit many kids. There are 2 main playgrounds for different age levels that are separated by fences which is really nice. Typical swing sets that are on all playgrounds. The really cool part is that the playground is next to a school that has several basketball hoops and lots of open space for play with lines pre-drawn on the pavement. When school is over, the school's marked pavement is like an extension of the playground for other games.
Rentable picnic areas. Nice fenced in play area. Lots of open space and tennis courts.
Well-kept Park always something to do family oriented very popular Park with a playground picnic area and a school
It's nice to have a park in the bay area where the homeless hasn't taken over. I understand we have a big problem with mental health care and affordable housing but there needs to be some place where i can take my kids without worrying about stepping in human waste.
Great, fun park for kids. A little more snobbiness from parents than I'd expect at a free park though. It's not a private park people. This used to be the rich side of town. Now it's just the old side... But the playground itself is big.
