I have had the facial from Terra at Back2Nature and it was wonderful. Not only was it relaxing, but totally rejuvenating. I purchased some suggested skin product,which are reasonably priced. I have been so happy with the results. I love that they are all plant based and natural! Highly recommend!
I bought a 90 minute massage and sauna groupon for this location. I arrived to my appointment early and had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time until we started because the sign in front of her door said in session, do not disturb. Even though after a while I could tell she was in there alone on the phone by herself so i was not going to interrupt her phone call. Luckily a co-worker of her's saw me ourside the door and got me inside. When we started she said she marked me down as a 60 minute appointment when I remember correcting her on the phone saying 90 minutes not 60 minutes. So I asked if I would still be able to get 90 minutes? She said we will make it work. I repeated, is that a yes? She continued: I said it will be fine. Sure enough the massage was only 60 minutes because she preferred to make time for the couple after me. I much rather would prefer honesty or being rescheduled but I do not like paying for service that does not happen or being lied to. Her massage was alright but hard to feel comfortable when she started late and I knew she would cut me short on time paid for. Plus her phone kept vibrating the whole session. Not a very peaceful enviroment in the office building set-up in downtown oakland.
My last & previous experience were terrible! I booked 90 min, she was late, like always, & gave me only 45 min,Terra left the massage room suddenly & didn't comeback, waited for her to comeback to finish the massage, never knew she was done, beside that, she bruised my back & hurt my neck & lower back, I couldn't move in 30 minutes, left the place having a bad headache!! She's the most unprofessional masseuse I've ever had, she didn't listen to my needs & takes a long time to reply messages, plus every time I requested 90 minutes, she would answer me, (not this time)....not when I booked, just right before the session. My opinion is that she needs to go back to school & learn the massage & costumer service skills.I don't recommend her at all, & I'll never go back!!!
