Best restaurant on Alameda. Possibly better than anywhere in Oakland. Totally San Francisco-grade gourmet here!
Nice little bar in Alameda. Its a very chilled setting. People are nice. The place is not too noisy and quiet enough where you dont have to yell. Drinks are not bad but nothing to write home about neither. The front seats are a bit windy and best to avoid if you dont like the cold.
It's one of my go to places in Alameda, with consistently excellent food and service. It is a bit dark and noisy for me, and the cocktails heavily favor bourbon and whiskey, as befits its name, and that's why I rate it 4 stars instead of 5.
Great food and wonderful staff. Our food was very slow to arrive but the manager made a point to visit our table and comp our appetizers. The halibut and the heirloom tomato and avocado salad are to die for.
Great selection of whiskeys, not to mention great pre-selected flights to choose from. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, as is the crowd. The appetizers are good and the burger and fries are really well made (including the pickles!). Highly recommend.
